aci can specify many types of partitioning systems to suit our client’s individual needs, however our most widely used systems are the 50mm and 77mm systems.
Both systemslook the same so aesthetics are not an issue, the choice comes down to performance in terms of sound rating and fire rating.
The 50mm is our most economic system but offers less sound rating (29dB) than our 77mm system which has an integral insulation quilt fitted as standard. (40dB)
The 77mm system can also be fire rated up to 30 minutes if required.
We tend to fit the 77mm system where sound insulation is required for managers offices, meeting rooms and toilets.
The 50mm system is fitted where a screen division is required but nothing too confidential is being discussed.
The 77mm system is around 25% more cost at ÂŁ250 a linear meter fitted versus ÂŁ200 a linear meter fitted for the 50mm system.
Our doors are offered in a wood veneer finish of either Ash, Oak, Beech or Walnut.
Glazing, in either system, can be single or double glazed with integral blinds if required.
Our systems use aluminium for the door frames, head channel and glazing frames.
The most economic finish is a silver anodised application, but if you are after a more premium feel then a powder coated finish would be our recommendation.
